Computerized Engine Analysis

No matter how big or small, or plain or expensive your car might be; the heart of any vehicle is its engine. Over the years, auto manufacturers have refined their vehicles' engines to meet today's Federal Exhaust Emission and Fuel Economy regulations. This means that modern vehicles need to be equipped with electronic engine control systems to curb carbon emissions and increase fuel efficiency.

As technology keeps growing, simple engine components are being replaced by more advanced parts. So, basic tune ups aren't enough to keep the engine healthy. Regular services like spark plug and filter replacements are still required, along with a complete diagnosis of your car's on-board computer.

Learn About the Operations of Your Car's Computer

The components of your car's engine are fitted with sensors and switches which monitor its operations and convert them into electrical signals. These signals are then transmitted to the vehicle's computer system. Based on the instructions coded within the computer's program, it sends a set of commands to the ignition, fuel and emission control system.

So, for example, if you keep seeing the 'check engine' light flashing even though your car is driving fine, our technicians will first inspect the command that was sent out by the computer. They will also check the car's engine control computer and sensors to confirm whether there's an actual problem with the engine or just an issue with the computer.
